Which size bed should I choose?
Our dog beds are made for all dogs from the smallest Chihuahua to the largest Great Dane and everything in between. We recommend buying a bed which your dog can comfortably fit on when they are sprawled out sleeping.

What shape & style beds do your covers fit?
Hey Pup! dog bed covers fit best on rectangular beds but can also be used on round beds. We will be releasing a round version soon but in the meantime if you have a bed which is not rectangular and you’d like to start using our dog bed covers, we’d recommend buying one of our memory foam beds too. We’re sure your dog will love you for it!

I placed an order via your website but haven’t received anything from you yet, who do I contact?
We deliver all orders via Australia Post or Courier so we are at their mercy when it comes to delivery times.  Most parcels are delivered within 3-5 Days, but it can be a few extra days for regional areas. If you have received an email from us more than a week ago to say that your order has been dispatched and you still have not received anything in the post please contact info@heypup.com

I don’t live in Australia, can I still buy your beds? 
Sure, please contact us via email and we’ll provide you with a quote for shipping.

You say that you can deliver Australia Wide, does that actually mean everywhere?
In most cases we can deliver everywhere in Australia, in some rare cases with our larger sized products the costs to send to some remote locations is just no possible through our freight carriers. We will always try to find alternatives, but very occasionally we have to refund an order.

Should I buy a bed for my puppy?
Of course! A new bed for a puppy will give them comfort and help them to feel settled in their new home. Just remember that nothing is indestructible when it comes to puppies. Our beds are made from durable material but puppies that are not kept busy with training, regular walks and toys will become bored quite quickly. It’s then that they’ll be at their most destructive!

What type of filling do you use in your beds?
Hey Pup! Memory Foam Dog Beds have a bottom layer of polyester fibre which provides padding. A top layer of memory foam is then added for a luxurious comfort not found in other dog beds. Bauer thinks they are the best on the market and we agree!

Can I wash my bed?
The removable cover is completely washable. We do however recommend using our Dog Bed Covers on top of the bed. They are easy to change and wash and take no time at all to dry. They will help with keeping your dog’s bed clean and fresh.

Do Bauer & Max really exist?
Of course they do! Bauer is an English Pointer who loves nothing more than chasing birds at the park. His favourite TV show is Antiques Roadshow. He howls along to the theme song whenever it comes on. Max is a Heeler X who is addicted to food. He once swallowed a whole chicken kebab, skewer and all. He has had two knee recos but has recovered well and enjoys running up to the birds at the park to scare them away before Bauer gets there.

Why do we give to charity?
Max was adopted from Lort Smith in Melbourne. Ever since we’ve had him in our lives we’ve wanted to give something back to those who do so much to help all dogs that are not as lucky as Bauer & Max. Our charities have a rescue focus and we’re very pleased to be able to support them with all the great work they do.

I’m a charity, am I able to join your community program?
Our focus is on charities who work in the area of animal rescue and re-homing. If your charity falls into this area and you’d like to speak with us further about joining our community program, please contact rachel@heypup.com

What’s Bauer’s favourite food?
Butter! When he was a puppy Mum left some butter on the kitchen bench, well out of reach of her cheeky puppy – or so she thought. Bauer got to about half the block before being caught mid-lick. Needless to say Mum now keeps the butter in the fridge and Bauer can only dream and hope that one day she’ll forget to put it away.

I’m thinking about buying a dog, which breed should I choose?
There are so many breeds to consider but no matter which one you choose make sure you do some thorough research. Does your family have small children, are you an active family, is someone home at your house during the day? The answers to all of these questions and many more will have a big impact on the dog that would be best for you. When you are ready to bring a dog into your home, please consider re-homing a dog from a local pound or rescue organisation. There are not enough words to describe the joy that we get every single day from our dog Max. If you find a dog that is even half the loyal, happy, beautiful companion that he is you’ll be blessed.

My dog is very good looking, can he or she model for your product shots?
Our current dog models, Sam and Dakota are lucky enough to be featured in the latest photographs on our website. Dakota is Max’s girlfriend so provided the relationship continues we can’t see our models changing anytime soon.

What football team to Bauer & Max barrack for?
Richmond Tigers! They’re both crossing their paws for a great season this year.
